Festival Of Flight – Watts Bridge, Australia

Just a reminder to those interested that The Queensland Vintage Aeroplane Group’s “Festival oif Flight” will be on again at Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield (Near Brisbane, Queensland, Australia). See QVAG’s web site for latest details http://www.qvag.org.au/

It will be held as normal on the last weekend in August. This year the dates are 27,28 and 29th August. The format of the event is that it is a fly-in with no organised schedule of events. You can be sure that a lot of flying by interesting aeroplanes takes place!

It is expected that there will be well over 130 aeroplanes attending during the course of the weekend with the majority being vintage and warbirds. I suspect that the Saturday will be the day to attend if the weather is OK.

I think it is honest to say this is Australia’s premier event for vintage aviation enthusists.
