Festive fugitive taunts police on Facebook
A British man who escaped from jail in September has used Facebook to boast to police about how he spent his Christmas.
Craig “Lazie” Lynch, 28, posted a photo on Christmas Day showing himself shirtless and holding a large turkey while making an offensive gesture at the camera, the Daily Mail newspaper reports.
“If any of you was doubtin my freedom. Here’s proof. How the ******* could I get my hands on a bird like this in jail. ha ha.” he wrote next to the photo.
A status update read: “Wow it really is xmas ha ha I cant believe i made it ******* tha police.”
Lynch has regularly posted updates on Facebook since escaping from the Hollesley Bay Prison, where he had nearly completed a seven-year sentence for aggravated burglary.
In one recent post, the fugitive told how he heard sirens outside his window and became convinced authorities were on their way to arrest him.
He jumped straight on Facebook and wrote: “Oh No sirens!! Its happening.”
But the sirens turned out to belong to an ambulance arriving to attend an incident across the street.
Lynch has directed many taunts directly at police by describing places he has visited in specific detail.
He has even told them he has plans to go to a New Year’s Eve party in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
A police spokesperson said authorities were working with Facebook to catch Lynch.

Wow. I must be so intrigued by this jail escapee, Craig ‘Lazee’ Lynch who’s playing a cat-and-mouse game with the cops through Facebook.
A New Year’s Eve party at Lowestoft, Suffolk must be the best chance the cops can arrest Lynch and make sure he spends the New Year behind bars. 😎

Hollesley Bay Prison [AKA ‘Holiday Bay’ Prison by the locals ]is an open prison you can literally walk out and hop on a bus , hardly a ‘Ronnie Biggs’ breakout , when your sentence is nearly done and doing a runner , aint a good Idea , perhaps he should change his ‘nick name’ from ‘Lazy’ to ‘Thicko’

Or you do a triple stabbing and get locked up for 21 months, just something i saw on a TV documentary about violent crime in London no idea of exact details.

I hope the cops can catch this guy after the fireworks party, so that he can spend the rest of the New Year in prison.
The Public Service…. he shouldn’t have escaped from the clink in the first place. But some guy turns up at the Cop Shop with a shotgun that he found in a field and gets the slammer for 5 years. What is going on in this crazy world? 😮
