Meh, without that cheat diffuser Ferrari by far has faster car as was proven in testing, followed close by RedBull and Renault. Once the FIA hearing is done and final decision is made this week, things will be back to same old same old, since either A) Brown Toyota Williams will be froced to remove diffuser and be docked pts.. or B) and more likely we will see everybody sporting one in about 2-3 races. In both cases the usual suspects will be back on top.. minus McLaren who seem to be way off the pace.

They won in Hungary a couple of seasons ago. Buttons first win in terrible conditions. Personaly i think that win was a complete fluke.

It’s won races before.
They’d won a race before (in Honda’s modern guise from its BAR years onwards).:D

The Brawn car has been in development for twice as long as anybody else has and has a McLaren engine. With the budget and testing restrictions the big teams are not going to buy their way out of this one.

Nothing against Brawn….they did well in the season opener
BUT
I wouldn’t count out McClaren and Ferrari.
I don’t expect them to surrender the title just yet.:D

Thing is i recon Brawn GP has a mighty weapon in the form of Richard Branson. Everything that man goes near tends to turn to gold and be successful. Lets hope it works as its very good to see a small team winning for a change.:)

Not a great fan of F1 but wanted to see Melbourne have relations there its a place I would not mind living in if I was younger. So I watched the race on TV,
thought Jason Button was great, I believe there is a protest by some of the
other teams,so the result maybe altered, as an outsider to the sport it seems
to me that the protesters are smarting over a new team beating them.

It’s only technically a new team. It’s the old Honda team re-badged. I don’t see why they’d be smarting over a “new” team they’ve been competing against for years winning a race. It’s won races before.

Just realised something. If the Brawn cars are deemed illegal at the appeal then Lewis Hamilton will now be the winner!
How crazy is that?

Congratulations to BrawnGP on the stunning win. Not taking anything away from the win when McLaren, and Ferrari, and BMW get the diffusers on their cars, at least by Europe the grid will revert back to last years dominance by Ferrari and McLaren. Nothingless congrats to Button and Barrichello, for the 1.2. they took a rubbish car and made a winner out of it.

No suprises this morning, we all knew what JB could do with the right car. Ross Brawn is the best brain in F1, they have a good engine, the car has been in development since this time last year, most experianced drivers and a now a good backer in Virgin.
Lets just hope they dont lose points over the diffuser, if they do then Red Bull look to be the ones to lead the grid.
Vettel is a future world champion !

Brawn completely dominated qualifying this morning. One of the most exciting qualifying sessions I’ve seen. Can’t wait for the race tomorrow.
