Fiat A-74

Thought we had found the illusive ‘Fits & Clearances” for the Fiat A-74 as we know they were issued in the German language. Not to be, it was the General Description, translated from the original Italian version into German.

Martyn and Shaun are busy at The Fighter Collection double checking systems as they slowly start the assembly of the CR-42. Focus this week has been on the fuselage controls which has required further research and translation of the J-11 manuals thanks to our friend Par in Sweden.

Swedish in the war time manuals is not always compatible with modern Swedish.
