In terms of service and multi-national useage, both the Glad and the Fiat have significant claims to fame – well in excess of any German equivalents.

I’m always happy to see something ‘different’ but let’s just be grateful for what people have spent a lot of time and money on already, rather than looking for another gift horse, eh?

Hi Cees-

There is an Arado 66 fuselage frame on display at the Deutsches Museum whose discovery story sounds somewhat like this one… I’m not aware of any surviving Ar 68 bits at all, unfortunately. This is one of those times that I would LOVE to be wrong, though! 🙂

Cheers,

Lynn

Will the Gladiator be in 80 or 33 Sqn markings, perchance? What a fantastic set-piece that would be, to have the CR.42 and a Gladiator carousing about in the sky… the last biplane fighters in history!

My only gripe is that no one’s put together an He 51 or Arado Ar 68E… now THAT was a sexy bird! 🙂

Good show TFC, and you know I have to ask it… will it be at Legends? 😀

Lynn

Isn’t there an Arado 68E airframe on show in Germany that was fished out of a lake after they stumbled over it while looking for a sunken Yacht? And didn’t have FlugWerk have any plans to clone some?

Where did he get that hat? 😉 Pikehouse strikes again…..

MY guess would be he stole it from Jack Roush? (see P51B thread) 😉

If they’ve sold the Hurri there will be no need for the Bi-Hurri wing. They will just have t put it on the CR42 then 😀

Good to see the TFC rotating aircraft types and allowing us to see more rare types.

I see they’ve traded the Hurri. Understandable, I suppose, but again I hope she’s not going too far…
