Fiat G-46 gear problem ?

The Booker based Fiat G-46 has just flown over ( 18.00 hrs) heading back to Wycombe (15 miles away), but with the gear still extended.

I saw it heading out on Saturday, very low, in the morning gloom. It has obviously been away- Duxford perhaps ?

Young Keith, still got an obsession with that excuse for an aeroplane made by Dh then? 😉 (not a Chipmunk fan) Yes I’m STILL there, what’s on the 17th btw? been getting the Dak ready as she’s got a booking in early June so what with it being ‘mad season’ it’s been a tad busy, if you’re around Booker and want to pop in come after 4 on a friday, as we finish at half-four and I’ll show you around.

The G-46 has been at N Weald as the owner is one of the Aerostars, and they have carrying out display practices over the past few days and hope to be signed off tomorrow.

G46 at Booker

No problem on landing this end. I live right under the flightpath for Booker and was cleaning the car when she went in and decided to go and have a quick look. She taxied in fine and disappeared between the hangers .
