posted on century china broad!.fiber optics image guidance test missles!.now this is a great ideal how you going to jam fiber optics command!.you can’t you have to slice the cable to tapped the fibers optics.which not going to happen not at speed of sound and airborne.your going to see the world first fiber optics manpad is the near futures!.I hope

then it look liked a very big tow missiles. geez what a missiles liked this would do to a m-1a2? tank. I doubt anyone going coming out of the tank,well not in one pices!.

Didn’t say it is, said it looks like one.
Compare the BGM-71F on that picture with the one above. Similar aerodynamic outlay, only the wings are in-line.

The US Javelin has this guidance as does a few Israeli weapons.
The main problem with them seems to be their speed… 120m/s is a bit slow. In comparison despite what you will read in AFM or Air Int in that french guys reports on ATGMs the current Russian models like Kornet and Ataka and Vikhr fly at between 420m/s and over 600m/s for Vikhr.

I believe the Israeles already have this , isn’t the MANPADS/Anti-tank missle , forgot the name , a fiberoptic command guidance cable. I beleive the User and guide it all the way in or disconnect and the missle home in.
