There is a Flying Legends group on Facebook.

Facebook, we have considered it but can’t see what else it would offer, most people on the interweb know where to find us!
Over the coming weeks we will have more material for the “Blog” as well as exclusives for Friends via our new Members area 🙂
Is the full fleet going to be back in the air this year?

I’m surprised there is no Facebook group for the TFC. Might be another way of connecting with the masses.

No e-mail – haven’t renewed my membership yet. My brother is a member, though I doubt he can remember his log-in details.
The post in question is at the bottom of this thread, for those wondering – http://forum.planetalk.net/viewtopic.php?t=9333&sid=3b396688d69bd173fb41946d9b021731
I assumed that to mean that the Harvard was having engine runs ready for flying next week.
I may be wrong. I often am!

Bizarre, still can’t see it! This computer is ‘avin’ a larf.
There was a post on another forum (PT) from one of the engineers suggesting that something may be happening next week…

I don’t see any changes, even after F5’ing?

Yes, but I can’t remember which one it was now. Read it on another forum.
I saw last Saturday the T.20 Sea Fury with all it’s panels on and parked in the north side of Hangar 2, where the Catalina had been, along with the MkV Spitfire.

Yes, we ran the Sea Fury t’other day, everything’s been moved about again as we’ve got the builders in…

The Friends of TFC Blog is kind of active and we are soon to be even more active with online member facilities, following the publication and distribution of the latest edition of Fighter Log. The election has caused a hold up at the printers. Which would you rather have posted through your door, Fighter Log or election leaflets? Apparently there’s more money to be made in printing election leaflets!
Keep a look out for our new features on the Blog and TFC website. There will be a ‘build up to Legends’.

Seen the weather forecast for Friday. 😀
Thursday, according to their web site, is crew training day for Sally-B with Friday as weather alternate.

I’m down Duxford tomorrow. I’ll get you some pictures to stem the withdrawal symptoms 😀

What’s this? Thursdays instead of Fridays?…:)

Brian ~ Nice to meet you last Saturday.
I’m planning to be around tomorrow too in the hope of capturing some images of Sally B crew training …… assuming the info on the web site is still correct 🙂
