Browsing the other magazine yesterday picture and news that the p40f has flown and is now in a container on its way to uk does anyone have any more info on this a/c

My records show that this P-40F is 41-19841 / VH-PIV. But I site here ready to be corrected.
You’re right, Foxwell!- It’s in the colours of a 78th Fighter Group aircraft based near Naples during February of 1944. (And I knew all that without looking at the current issue of Aeroplane at all!)
