These are the two planes that are parallel with the Railway……I expected them to be nothing more than empty shells, but they look complete to me

The aircraft have been at Hawarden for more than 12 years and I think that the graffiti appeared 5 or 6 years ago.
The two MiGs on loan at NAM were collected from Hawarden in May 2002.

I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Sukhois, will they have the graffiti removed?

hi,
sure this is Hawarden, so they will be – 23 Red Mig 27.
35 Red Su 17.
54 Red Su 17.
I believe there is now a café, which these can be viewed close-quarters. There are other ex Soviet assets but they are all hangared.
regards
jack…
