Film of the Year

Right, you lot are bound to have seen a few movies this year. What’s been your favourite??

My personal fave: Pirates of the Caribbean.

Why? It’s the kind of action/adventure movie that they just don’t make any more, with a pretty decent plot and some wicked special effects. Trust me, if I went to see it twice at the cinema, it must be good! 😀

Ahhh, forgot about Finding Nemo….

Had been waiting ages to see it (since about May) and was not disappointed! 🙂

I found “Finding Nemo” quite good actually (I misplaced my fishy mate), especially the aussie-sharks made me laugh a few times.

Master and Commander was pretty good and convincing also. The opening scene with the battle between the two ships was spectatular.

Y’know, I have an easy system for deciding if a movie is good or not. If I look at my watch during the movie, then something is wrong 😎

Shoulda mentioned that T:3 was thouroughly enjoyable as well. Apart from the obvious, I’m also looking forward to Paycheck on X-Mas day as well.

Pirates was great, Timeline was better than I expected, but for now my vote goes to Master And Commander. Never read the books so I could care less about how well they were followed in this case, suffice it to say I thouroughly enjoyed the film. Of course, this will most likely all change in two weeks 😎

Different people , different result :). However , you’re right , it might change soon

A lot of people certainly liked Pirates….. just not me.

Of the pictures I have seen this year (and I have not seeen as many as I would like) “School of Rock” is pretty good.
