Well today I unexpectedly was able to get some time off work along with a friend of mine, what else was there to do but grab the camera and head down to Coningsby:D .
I won’t waste anyones time by posting half terrible shots of the Jags, just a quick post to say to all those who kept the Jaguar flying for so long……………THANKYOU.
I had a wonderfull day that meant so much to me and will long live in my memory for so very long, a tight formation that was perfect and sweet….

I am sure we will all be thinking about all the good times the Jag gave us and that 6 SQD will once more grace our skys again in the future…..

When all the noise finished I grabbed a few shots over at the HAS’s, respecting the famalies privacy I only grabbed this one shot of the pilots having champagne after their sorte, his gesture prompting the shutter release….

And the best gesture of the day was as the pilots returned for de-brief these three strolled over for a chit chat, one well and truely having had his chain yanked in some post flight shenanigans:D …..

Once again to all those involved over the years with the Jaguar, I thank you.
Regards,
John.

Hi, the airfield vicar (yes we have one) mentioned that the Jags had their last day flying today, inbound for Cosford. Is that correct?
