After years of failed plans and rumours, it appears that Maxjet have finally got been approved for flights between New York and Stansted. Their website is now taking bookings with flights to begin on November 1st. https://www.maxjet.com/index.jsp?requestPage=newsearch.page
However, something has puzzled me. I’m almost sure that Maxjet had talked before of providing low-cost service between Newark and Stansted, then Eos said they were going to fly an all Business class aircraft between JFK and Stansted.
It now appears that Maxjet have adopted what Eos said they would originally do. Both airlines have been doing proving flights over the Summer. Do you think maybe that Eos were unsuccessful in their proving flights, and so Maxjet ‘stole’ their philosophy while they had the chance?
