That’s the Irish spelling which has crossed the Atlantic as a function of the Americans love of all things Irish and picturesque – witness Noraid and its funding of the quaint ole IRA to enable them to blow more ‘Oirish’ civilians into bloody pieces with quaint and picturesque ol’ Semtex.
