Maybe I’ve said it already but anyways…
I was lucky enough to receive Finn Thorsager’s memoars from his widow. They cover his time from the 9th of April 1940 to the end of the war pretty good and also covers his trip across Russia and to the States as well.
Finn Thorsager was Norway’s first pilot in aerial combat in a Gladiator. He later served with 332 Squadron from North Weald and so on and so fourth.
He died in 2000.
With time, I’ll translate the interesting bits and put them up on the web. 😀

He talks about it, but then he refers to Cato Gunfeldt’s excellent book “Fornebu 9th of April”, but there are some very interesting things in there.
Something about the people on the ground forgetting to reload his guns when he comes down after the first sortie for example. 🙂

Hi DCK,
Excellent stuff indeed. I would be very interested to read about his version of what happened during the 9th April.
