So what’s the final word on these? They showed up at a scrap dealer, but I seem to remember one of the cockpits turning up at a nightclub? Were the cockpits saved or also scrapped?

I suppose the ‘ethics’ of her art preclude an answer to what happened to the perspex -cable and sundry other metals that were not turned into aluminium ingots!

I’m not very sentimental when it comes to metal but looking at those ingots. It’s as if someone killed those aircraft. Such a contrast from what they were.
But then if someone wanted them they wouldn’t be in that state. Can’t save em all I guess.
I expressed an interest in the Jag cockpit (although it wasn’t complete internally):(
