Ok, apologies folks for these being almost two years late, but I have not been able to get my scanner up and running properly and so today, in a fit of frustration, I just threw all caution to the wind and went out and bought a new scanner so I could post photos again, and post I shall…these pics of Eddie Kurdziel’s Firefly were taken here in Colorado 2 years ago before it ‘officially’ debuted at Oshkosh 2002, and if they look familiar it’s because you probably saw one of them in that ‘other’ english aviation periodical that starts with an ‘A’….that and it also ran in Classic Wings in NZ… Let’s see how they post up….these are the FIRST post restoration air to air shots…

Eddie is flying the plane in these pics, don’t recall who did the test flights all spring but know it was someone from the UK…the guy in the back seat is a Brit by the name of Peter Broom who worked on the engine at a company out here called ‘Firewall Forward’, talked to them recently and asked about Pete and they said as far as they knew he was in jail in England!! Anyone know any more?

Who is flying the machine?
Don Sigournay did the test flights if I remember rightly?
