I think having read years ago it requires a (Buick) V8-engine to start the engine of a Lockheed SR71 Blackbird. I do not have the book any more, I guess it must have been from a public library, but maybe someone can confirm / clarify this? :confused:

NO .. it was a TWIN Buick V8 start cart that was needed…..
Coupled unsilenced V8s…..bliss..
And sadly replaced by in barn airstart system….
