The 737-900ER carries 215 passengers and the 757 can carry 228 passengers.

235 PAX on a typical UK charter airline.

I like the look of the 739ER, very smart.

Not aiming to be controversial but personally i don’t like it, the 738 looks nicer – just looks like they’ve crammed in an extra few seats and added a few windows. whats the seating capacity? not a patch on the 757 which i presume is its replacement!

I like the 738 more but this is a nice 737 😎 Is this the Last 737 type to be made now?

yep, it’s the Boeing house colours.

So why would an airline want to be promoting the Boeing house colours? Obviously they’re being paid (or at least got a massive discount on the purchase of the airframe), but who are Boeing really trying to market it at?

It was originally placed on a Korean Air 737-900 that was exhibited at Farnborough 2004 in order to promote the 787 Dreamliner. The continuation of random placements of the scheme on other carriers aircraft seems to be nothing more than a global marketing campaign to highlight the 787.

Exactly who it is being marketed at does seem something of a mystery though, as 99.9% of the passengers going on the aircraft wont even notice it let alone understand what it depicts.

Aircraft itself is nice looking, but the Dreamliner scheme is getting very boring now.
