Oops, sorry. That’ll teach me to stray from the Historic Forum – I’m not used to dealing with the future tense….

I read somehwhere when someone was asking about a Cancun TCX service that the runway is a bit on the short side for a Cancun service? Don’t know whether its true or not though.

Its 2005 the change Marauder, not 2004 unfortunately.
Can anyone confirm the rumours that a Cancun service may be established in 2005? As yet I can’t find out by whom?

Sorry to report that First Choice Holidays will be putting their NCL-SFB passengers on the TCX flight this summer. The only FCA aircraft to pass through will be the weekly (Wednesday) B757 to Verona…

Seems like FCA are really going for the long-haul market, staying out of the european market a bit where the lo-cos dominate. So thats EMA,NCL and Ive heard Robin Hood as well that FCA are going to operate long haul from.
One quick point LGKR, Captain Ben said May 2005 which is not this summer!:)

There have been rumours that Thomas Cook were going to operate another Orlando schedule and Dominican Republic in Summer 2005.

great news i guess… some bigger charter birds in the form of 763’s will certainly add to Newcastles movements next summer (2005) without a doubt. a shot in the dark i know but would love to see some of the Air 2000 scheduled flights come back to NCL. i recall a paphos service under the DP flight code and possibly an Alicante one – very unlikely now that easyJet have such a huge presence at the field i suppose.
anyone know of any other FCA routes from NCL or is Sanford going to be the only one for now??
cheers,
LGKR
