Looking at Ceefax, there’s an intriguing entry on the MAN arrivals page:
FCA61 from Incheon (was due at 2040, now expected 2230). I’ve had a quick peek at Flytecomm and saw that flight is routing IST-MAN.
Is Korea a new destination for First Choice this year or is it a one-off?

ICN-Tashkent-Istanbul-(Gatwick?)-Manchester
I was correct 🙂
According to Crosswind on airliners.net, it’s off again in a few days

It’s coming via Gatwick and it’s due in in 20 minutes.

Do FCA have an deliveries this month or so 767-300 wise ano they are expecting one.
Its probably just a 1 – off

But a B752 all the way from ICN-MAN !? Surely must need 1/2 fuel stops?

if it is IST its a one off as they dont fly there as well as the flight code being FCA 061 which is in the region of their long-haul codes.
It could be just a one off as the flight isnt bookable,
i personally think its TCS Expeditions which do convert a 757-200 of FCA this year its G-OOBA.

I’d like to believe that, Scott, but given that there are daily IST services, I don’t see how they could confuse ICN and IST!?!? Anyway, we’ll see what chirps up on Servisair and/or Jetset ops at about 2200.

It’s probably a wrong code entered in the system, they probably entered IST as Incheon instead of Istanbul

Could it be one of those round the world charters they do with a specially configured 757?
