The thread title says it all, orders for 6 to be delivered from 2009.
Blue Panorama from Italy also put on an order for 4.
If First Choice are ordering can we presume that the likes of Britannia will follow?

Fantastic work Sandy Great π
Hope your right and all those airlines do order the 7E7!
By: tenthije - 7th July 2004 at 21:01
Looks good Bmused. Well done.

The promised concepts.
My vision what the British 7E7 fleet will comprise of.
Who knows, maybe by the time the 7E7 takes to the skies… all these airlines will have placed orders. It would be the sensible thing to do… he he π

The only B757s due for delivery are now the two ‘used’ examples. G-OOBI is undergoing maintenence at Abu Dhabi and G-OOBJ is with Monarch at Luton. Both will enter service when work is complete. G-OOBF/G were new off the line earlier in the year and will be the last received direct from Boeing.
The first of the ex Vietnamese B767s will go to AUH in September for overhaul and modifications before revenue ops next year.
The 7E7s will be in twin-class config, offering 33″ (thirty three) seat pitch in economy as per the 3 uprated 767s.
By: LBARULES - 7th July 2004 at 16:55
I imagine First Choice will really push their new on board service when they get these 7E7s, on long haul flights. Really does sound great stuff from FCA on long-haul. Maybe the likes of Britannia (If they do order) could introduce this type of service if they get the 7E7?

If First Choice are ordering can we presume that the likes of Britannia will follow?
The 7E7-8 carries 217 passengers in a three-class configuration. 1st Choice will probably opt for one-class
throughout. I wonder how many seats they will cram in
if they stick to the UK charter fleet norm of a 28″ seat pitch.?

Yes, they are still getting some of the 757s, but most of the order was canceled.
By: Mark L - 7th July 2004 at 16:24
First Choice still have one last 757 to come, and 3 767s are due from Vietnam next year as well apparently…
By: DashQ - 7th July 2004 at 15:56
This must explain why First Choice canceled that 757 order a while ago…
By: Mark L - 7th July 2004 at 15:35
They will presumably replace the 767s so will go from MAN and LGW? Anyway, its years away!
By: MANAIRPORTMAD - 7th July 2004 at 15:33
YES! Will the FCA ones be based at MAN?

RIPConcorde, I didn’t start a new thread, because the members were still discussing, which carrier(s) will buy the 7E7.
I just wanted to confirm what Bmused55, WiLag and Thomas Cook were discussing this morning!
Personally, I don’t matter, that you started a new thread.
I understand your point, that maybe some members and especially guests might miss my post.
Please edit your post and add the concept drawing of Blue Panorama’s 7E7!!! π

Well they should have started a new thread, that one was a question, ‘Is somone ordering the 7E7?’, this thread is saying yes, First Choice and Blue Panorama, it is confirming the rumour.
People may miss the post in that thread, but as I’ve started a new thread about it, won’t miss this one. π π
