I have been mail-shotted by first direct (their lower case) advertising their telephone/online bank account. The ‘bait’ to switch to them is £50 added to your account on receipt of your first monthly salary payment.
Having got more and more fed up with HSBC and their 0.001 per cent interest rates on accounts in credit, I am just about ready to jump ship.
The question is, are first direct any good??
