I would guess that the A330 will certainly operate some AMS-LHR sorties to begin with to enable crew to operate max. no of take-off/landings during initial operations.

If the A330 is replacing the 767, is it likely that it will operate the one flight a day (or two?) into Heathrow that is currently operated by the 767?
I don’t know. The 330 is rather long legged, so I do not think it may be (as) economical to put the 332 on the LHR route. You might get two 739s instead? The lat 763 will not leave the fleet for quite a while yet so for now nothing will change.

I gotta hand it to Airbus, they know how to make an excellent PR stunt 🙂
Paint the plane up fully before the engines are even on it. (when typicaly the livery is one of the last things airbus put on) Perhaps a Paris Airshow display piece?
Great livery + good looking plane = Very nice spotter material 🙂
If you think you’ll get otherwise perfectly sensible Airbus threads merged into the Fanboy Deathmatch thread this way, Sandy, guess again mate……. :diablo: :diablo: :diablo:

Very nice, is this the first aircraft with the Air France KLM logo on?
Also, these are to replace 767s right?
As far as I know this is indeed the first plane with the new KL/AF logo. And yes the A330s will indeed replace the 767s. The first 767(s?) have already been retired. PH-BZA is now flying for Zoom.
The MD-11s will eventually also be replaced by a mix of A330s and B777s, but that’s not for a few more years.

Good stuff, cheers for providing link!
Well engines obviously not there and job not finished but so far I’d say the A330 looks very good in KLM colours!
