Spotted this over on the BoBHS board-
‘I have just produced some 92 Sqn prints called “Hammer Blow” and I was with Geoff Wellum last month, While he was signing them Geoff said that the script writers are working with “First Light” at the moment,Looking to make it into a film,How cool would that be? Early days yet but it would make a great film.There is also talk of a Billy Fiske film being made.’

Excellent news if true. I’m assuming this is a British production rather than one designed to appeal to US audiences?
The Billy Fiske film has been discussed here before, but seems to have gone rather quiet.

first light was the first book of this type that i read, i have since read it twice more, an amazing book written by a brilliant man

I thoroughly enjoyed the book, I hope if it comes off they do it justice.
