First Mirage 2000 Mk2 enters Greek service

First one delivered 332 Squadron of 114 Combat Wing at Tanagra Air Base after following its IFE the past summer. The only visual difference between the Mirage 2000-5 Mk 2 and the existing Mirage 2000EGM/BGM planes is a fixed IFR probe near the canopy.

It’s equipped with the RDY-2 radar, and Thales ICMS 2000 Mk 3 EW suite. There will be 15 new build aircraft, and the Hellenic Aerospace Industry will rebuild 10 of the earlier 2000-EGM planes to the Mk 2 standard.
