The first Airtours aircraft has been painted in the MyTravel colours. G-CRPH, an A320 was unveilled yesterday (Mon 28 Jan) at Manchester.

I really like it, can’t wait to see the 330’s in this livery in the flesh.
What do you all think of it.

Lou,
We all know you hate Airtours with your femminist views.Even if they re-branded with your beloved Belgian flag on it u would hate them.Dont always believe what u hear in the Sunday Sport about woman pilots. There are always 2 sides to every story.Ill say again “Go off and have a word with yourself” and then pass comment when u know the full story ! Just out of interest why do u love the ex-Sabeana so much ?

Cheap, tacky, horrid, vile, need I say more? I have no time at all for this airline so I am hardly neutral, but I would dislike those colours whichever airline had them.
Fly with proper Belgian airlines.

Hmmmmmmm – the old livery was smart, but if u got close up they were starting to look tatty on some a/c (G-JALC, G-TDTW and G-PIDS spring to mind!!!) so i suppose we’ll see quite a lot of them repainted over the winter!!

Just to say that the My Travel colours in my opinion look cheap and revolting – and what a stupid name for an airline (tour company!) The old airtours colours were far superior, and in my opinion gave a better brand image (even though airtours service had a reputation for poor service!)!
…and the new monarch colours are confirmed as Purple and light blue.

As I understand it, Britannia have always been related to Hapag Lloyd through the Thomsom/TUI thing, but they are now going to give them all the same livery (with exeption of titles), MyTravel are also doing the same (Airtours / Premiair).
Just a small update on the Monarch thing, a new A321 is due for delivery mid-March and this may be the first to feature the new colours. If you look at the Cosmos website then this is mainly purple now, so the purple rumour may be true, with yellow featuring somwhere as well.
Can’t wait to see those colours! x(

Britannia’s looks amazing. Aren’t they merging with Hapag-Lloyd or something like that?

I like this livery unlike many charter airlines such as Britannia, its lively, fun and colourful which in my opinion is what acharter airline is about. The c/s looks very nice on the A320,can’t wait to see it at LGW when i’m there in the summer!
