I actually love these retro c/s. I think it looks great…. and i do still hope the IL62s keep flying.
Any idea what engines they are using?

Interesting pics. More of a replacement for the Tu154s in the fleet rather than the IL62s I suspect. Nice to see that the original livery is retained. I was once told by an avionics engineer, who used to work on the Air Koryo/CAAK IL62s on rotation through Berlin Schonefeld, that those aircraft had fewer hours on them than even the rarely operated Govt/VIP IL62s of the GDR/LSK, so they will be good for a few more years yet!

I think it is about time that Air Koryo modernised their fleet. The Ilyushin IL-62s must have been getting on a bit, though I am surprised that they have not instead opted for Boeing :diablo:
