Most likely a middle-eastern tycoon. Why they need an A380 for a private jet beats me…
To show the world at large that you can still afford one, mate! 🙂
Anyway it’s not as if there aren’t any privately-owned B747s, is it? It’s not that much of a jump up to the A380 if you’re in the habit of that particular style of conspicuous consumption.

Donald Trump? is he rich enough?
John Travolta? He has many planes already that he lives on.
Microsoft or Apple founders? Probably not gates, he’s not that type but the Apple lads are, one owns the largest private yacht in the world
Last guess is some Russian Oil guy.
