Ken, hope you get going soon. Have been waiting for good weather to go solo for a couple of weeks now, every time I turn up for a leeson I seem to bring gails with me. I was surprised that I went solo today.
On departure from leicester the wind was really gusting and just after climbing to 2500 ft in the overhead a heavy shower passed through which we avoided by heading off to the south.
On return to Leicester, the shower had passed and the sky was blue and the wind had calmed. Taxying in, we pulled over to one side, my instructor got out and said off you go. 😮
Just did the one circuit as G-BKGW was booked out to someone else.
Hours logged – 8.45 dual and 10 mins solo. 😀
