First Batch of Components for Su-30 Assembly Delivered to India

The first two sets of construction elements for the Su-30MKI airplane have been delivered from Russia to India, they reported at the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) corporation on Tuesday.
“The first batch of components for the licensed assembly of Su-30MKI airplanes at HAL corporation plants has been delivered to the Indian city of Nasik,?” the firm’s representative reported.

According to him information, the first of 140 fighters assembled in India under license is supposed to leave the HAL shops as early as 2004.
