First UK Boeing 787 Delivered

G-TUIC now delivered so perhaps a few ad hoc services are very close now

it’s a TUI livery…one of the Belgian TUI aircraft has been delivered in that too.

Only Thomson has quickly repainted the fleet to match, perhaps due to the 787

It is a ghastly livery as many of the recent are…Monarch is another.

Nice to see the UK getting its first 787…but I still can get my head round that awful new Thomson livery!

Thanks…I’ve seen it up a few times on Sat and today doing circuits…quirt short and tight so folks will need to be pretty close for a peek.

Hi, i`m not sure if anyone is interested but here is a link to a picture of the dreamliner landing at newquay. The aircraft will be flying to newquay quite a bit during june for crew training.

Seems to be circuit training at Newquay.

I would think as soon as circumstances allow they will slip it in on short routes

Engine patriotism???…TUI is a German group

There could be many reasons.

Patriotism would not play much of a part in engine selection, I wouldn’t think; but I agree it would be nice to see RR engines on it.

8th of July for the first long haul flight. Will Thompson be using it on short haul flights for training?

Currently at Newquay…It was there earlier this afternoon…perhaps it’s about to take off??…18:00

It should be operating from East Mids too, a tow at arrived last week 🙂

At last! Just a shame it’s flying on foreign engines 🙁
