The image below of Fisher Celebrity N8205H was taken at Badminton on the 14th July 1991.

Then in 2002 Celebrity N8205H was reported destroyed in a flying accident.

Then today ( 1st November 2014 ) I took this image in a private collection at Newquay. The present custodian informed me that this aircraft has been in storage locally for the past 18 years.

Question 1, are these two images of the same aircraft despite the different colour schemes and configuration?
Question 2, was the first image the Celebrity destroyed in 2002?
If you can throw any light on these questions I would be most gratefull

Thank you for your replies.
Gipsy 1 (A) Can you confirm that the aircraft you are the passenger in is the same aircraft destroyed in 2002.
(B) Is it possible the remains returned to the UK sometime after the accident with the intentions to rebuild.
(C) I am convinced the c/n plate on the second airframe is from the earlier airframe.
I think we should probably regard the 18 years in store may not be that accurate. Also it may be that the 2nd airframe never flew ( Possible issues with the CAA )?

Sorry, can’t help with your quest, but i appreciate the pics.
I have great enthusiasm for light affordable vintage-style biplanes, and this was a new one for me. Google images has some very attractive examples, especially those with radial engines.
I wonder if the LAA have approved the type.

I managed to check the c/n plate today ( AVI001 ). Perhaps then this is the same airframe, shipped back to the UK after it’s accident in 2002 for restoration ???
