Fixing engine primers

I’m currently selling a few of my engine primers, both KiGas and Parker. Thing is a few of them are stuck solid and the KiGas one that I’m selling on evilbay clearly shows someone has had a go at it sometime ago (not me) to try and free it up.

Anyone have any recommendations for unsticking a seized primer? Don’t want to wreck them if I can avoid it 🙂

Cheers

Ewan

A little bit of 3-in-one should free off the check valves but don’t use anything solvent or you’ll destroy the leather packing on the plunger. 🙂

dump it in evapo-rust….that will most likely destroy the oxides

I take it you have tried unscrewing the cap first before trying to pump it?
