Well , someone in a previous topic posted a question about flags.
We got interesting informations about east timor one.
So what about YOUR country flag : what’s the meaning???
France is : blue, white ,red.
White was the color of the french kings (a bit British aswell).
Blue and red are the colors of the city of Paris. After the revolution in 1789 when they changed the flag, the king was surrounded by people ….. Red and blue.

RE: Flag colors
well… the Saltire is simply a white St. Andrews’ cross (The Patron Saint of Scotland) on a blue background.
And if you look at my icon, the Irish Tricolour (might as well explain it seeing as how I’m flying it) symbolises the peace (the white bit) between the two populations of Ireland (I’m sure you can work out which one the green and orange bits respectively represent…)

RE: Flag colors
Black-Red-Yellow
Black is the colour of Flanders (the lion), red the one from Wallonia (the chicken :-)). So they just combined both into one flag.

RE: Flag colors
The flag which I uploaded was Bahrain.
It has only two colours – white (swords) and red (blood). Not sure which battle it represents though, as there were no colonial conflicts.
