Can anybody please tell me how many types of world war 1 flechettes there are, I have collected 14 different ones so far. Two are made in Germany.Three are of the anti-zeppelin type. I also have a container for them dated 1915. I have seen another two types that i haven’t manage to obtain yet.

Hi TT,
I do have one of those, which is on ebay. But i was told that this type is a bomblet as used in Vietnam. So i didn’t put in the photo.

Blimey that is SOME collection – you even have the rare ‘incendiary’ anti zepp type – as to how many types there were – I have no idea, IIRC some were commercially produced some were by government munitions factories – I dont think you will ever know!
