Sorry to bore you with Britannia again
Britannia.com
The Britannia Airways fleet is set to be rebranded as Thomson – but Britannia isn’t flying off for good. The Britannia logo will be replaced with a larger Thomson logo and ‘Operated by Britannia’ will be written on the nose of the aircraft.
Repainting work has already begun with the rebranding of our first Boeing 757 ‘G-BYAS’ (pictured). ‘G-CDUP’ has also just undergone repainting, while ‘G-BYAH’ is currently being painted in Maastricht. An implementation team is currently working on timescales for the rebranding of the rest of the fleet.
Despite the rebranding, the Britannia name remains and staff will continue to work for Britannia Airways. The rebranding is part of a move by TUI UK to grow its seat only business, by making the most of the strength of the Thomson brand. TUI UK has already started to advertise flight only deals under the Thomson.co.uk brand name.
