Our “hobby” is very diverse, the interests in historic aviation debated here span from collecting twisted bits of metal from crash sites, flying aircraft, museum static aircraft, photography of “historic aircraft” at airshows and following the recovery and preservation of extinct types such as the Halifax (& Stirling?).
My main interests have been in the preservation end of such things relating to the aircraft, and I havent got into “personal” momentos or other related “collectables” such as uniforms, goggles, badges etc.
Similiarly, while Flight Covers were something I have been aware of for years, I had’nt explored them at all, and its only in the last 12 months that I have studied these facets of Aviation Heritage to any large degree?
In recent weeks I have been rapidly acquiring a collection of “envelopes” that have flown on important flights with famous people, my interests are predominately Australian based, although Dave Homewood would love the CTP Ulm ones I got on the first airmail flight to NZ.
I was wondering if we have any philitalic experts or major flight cover collectors among us who might share some of their gems via photos etc,

an example of the gems I have been pursuing, although this one was a bit out of my price range, is this letter addressed to Ross Smith by himself and carried from England to Australia in 1919 as the first international airmail into Australia, it passed in on ebay recently for $3,100 USD.
so your ones in the loft might be worth something to someone?
