Flight help needed

Hullo all,

I have a request, as I know some of you here are pretty clued up on this.

Can anyone tell me, for any certainty what equipment is scheduled to operate First Choice flight FCA084 from Gatwick to Margarita on November 25th and then back again on December 10th? I’m guessing its a 767, possibly an A330.

Also, leading on from that, whats the typical seat pitch to be expected and where is best to sit? Do they have PTVs on all aircraft yet?
All the website details and brochure info is a bit vague on this info!

Thanks in advance 🙂

From this site, you will see that First Choice refuse to supply seat plans!

You could do the site a favour and provide them with a cabin plan after you have flown!:D

Hi Bmused55,

The flight will be operated using a 767-300, unless as Grey Area rightly points out it is a subchartered service, but I dont think it will be!

Seat pitch…depends on whether you are travelling in Star Class Premier (premium economy), where you get a rather impressive 36in seat pitch; or normal Star Class (economy) where you get an equally impressive 33in seat pitch.

All seats have their own PTV’s; obviously those on exit rows and bulkheads will have the ones that come out of the arm-rest!

In terms of where to sit, I dont think it really matters to be honest…although I suppose it depends if you are fussy about being sat next or near to the toilets!?

One thing I would advise though is that you get to the airport early because check-in is open quite early and people always turn up earlier than necessary because they want to ensure they can sit together, and due to the config of the a/c (2+3+2), you could find yourself sat one behind each other if you check-in any later (which FCA regard as ‘sitting together’ at this stage!)

If you are proposing to stay in a hotel the night before, I would recommend the Sofitel hotel as it is directly connected to the North Terminal via a walkway.

The other good thing about staying close-by the night before is that First Choice offer a day-before check-in service (£5 per person!), where you can do the whole check-in procedure, thus meaning that you can avoid check-in on the morning of your flight, instead you can go straight through to security and into the departure lounge!

Hope this helps, any further questions, please do not hesitate to PM me!:D

heres the link for the FCA 767 promo video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDrvR2GNW1c

I have flown on one of there 767’s to HUX Mexico..

I upgraded to Premier class at a cheap price and it was worth every penny.. First Choice sometimes struggle to fill Premier due to the cost.. so i would suggest you call them 1 week before you go to see if you can upgrade..

I managed to upgrade for £50 for 2 people.. its worth it for the extra TV programmes, FREE drinks, better food, and extra leg room, better seats…

I can’t help with the first part of your questions but here’s a great website that gives all sorts of information about seating.

First Choice don’t actually operate any A330s at the moment, Sandy, so the B767 would seem to be the safest bet.

There’s always a chance of a subcharter, I suppose.
