Having managed to mislay my 1960s and 1970s editions of the Flight International annual survey of the world’s guided missiles, I have been trying to download these from the Flight archive.
My memory is that these were compiled annually, first by Bill Gunston, and later by Mark Hewish and Doug Richardson. However, this old man’s memory is clearly not as good as it once was. I’ve found editions compiled by John W R Taylor in 1967 and 1968, then another in 1971. My on-line searching skills have not produced editions for 1965, 1966, 1969 or 1970. (Just to complicate things, the edition published in November 1968 was titled “Missiles 1969”.
Can anyone with a better memory than mine tell me if missile surveys were published in 1965, 1966, 1969 or 1970?
