After reading several reviews and all say the same thing this is what i am annoyed at.
Here:

I Quote
I’m glad I didn’t bother paying for headphones – yes, paying for headphones that are distributed free on scheduled airlines. I will never fly with Thomas Cook airlines again.
This seems to be what most people say on there bad reviews, i can get this that and the other with scheduled airlines, i can get more leg room with this airline because its scheduled.
Well if they know the difference between scheduled and chater then why do they fly charter in the first place, and then have the cheek to come back and say i could have got this with a scheduled airline!!!
(it got my so annoyed)

Yes, but I’m a big fan of paying for it all seperately now aswell, decided I needed some winter sun just before xmas, so went to Lanzarote. I got a quote for the hotel I wanted as a package, then got a quote by booking each element seperately, and can you guess which one saved me over £50 per head???? Most tour operators sell their holidays bit by bit aswell, you just ned to check out their websites instead of walking into an estate agent.
Estate agent, hahaha
My ex works for Tui, so she can usually get me a good deal.

I was thinking more as a package holiday, Flights, coach and hotel as opposed to Schedule then having to pay all the extras.
£7 more expensive, see you could have saved on the earphones after all 😉

If they don’t want to pay for the headphones, why don’t they just pay the extra hundred pound or so and fly with a scheduled flight? I wish they would just shut up and pay the few quid for the ear phones!

An extra £100?? I think that when people are booking flights they should check all carriers before deciding. Last year I travelled to Cyprus for my brother’s wedding, living near Heathrow at that time I automatically checked out BA for convenience. They were £7 more expensive return than the cheapest charter flight from LGW (but that saved me money on getting to LGW!!).
It’s the same with Low Costs Carriers, people PRESUME they are cheaper. The reality is that their cheap end fares are cheaper, but towards the higher end of fares they can sometimes be more expensive than the fulls service airlines.
I reckon, with the use of a good internet site it is possible to spend all of 5 minutes doing a search of the full service carriers, it may be that on the occasion you want to fly they are more expensive, but surely 5 minutes is worth it just to check.
I prefer to fly full service not just because of perks such as inflight catering and ents, but also because they tend to be more reliable with (generally) better servcie. Furthermore if you book with BA you can check in the night before on the net and get those extra leg room seats!!!

Reviews on that website just shows how ignorant Joe Public is.
I only read flight reviews from people a tad more informed about the general workings of the industry. Like the trip report forum here.

I get annoyed with this type of stuff as well.
As Matthew mentioned (LOL) Danair was so bad for this, he would complain of getting very little on charter flights, and then you would go, why dont you fly scheduled?
‘Not paying all that money for BA,bmi etc…..’. What the hell do people expect?
