RE: Flight Sims

YEP!

Love them. I have Microsoft’s CFS, Janes WW2 Fighters, Janes LONGBOW 2, DID’s F-22 ADF & Total Air War. Imagic’s F/A-18E Carrier Strike Fighter. Oh, and Janes IAF. 🙂

New computer next year will mean some serious additions to the ‘old’ collection.

Regards, Glenn.

RE: Flight Sims

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-08-02 AT 06:44 AM (GMT)]I’ve got Janes Fighter Anthology… I like the information but the actual flight sim leaves a little to be desired.
The ground detail is not good and the aerodynamics aren’t that great either.
The range (types) of aircraft is excellent however.

RE: Flight Sims

well if your going fast enuff and you can afford to loose the height its not a problem. ive seen pics from a 707 cokpit where its at a top of a loop, if you have enuff energy you can do anything safely, you could loop at a constant two g if you had the energy. i only own cfs1 cfs2 of microsofts, and dont load them up anymore, looking to sell them with some other sims i dont use. What i did like about msfs98 was the fact that the learjet could spin, and was recoverable without very much loss of height!! good for displays.

what version of x-plane do you have?

RE: Flight Sims

Oh! I’ve got X-Plane, not a bad bit of kit, I prefer it to FS2000 alot! FS is too graphic intensive and arcadey. But having said that I aileron rolled a A-340 on x-plane!
