Hi all,
Just wanted to say that I had a great day out in Dublin yesterday, will post my trip report at the weekend for you all to read, it will be a suprise I can tell you!
Just a quick question though, I am looking to go to DUB again in February next year to celebrate my mates 21st birthday. I know it might seem to be quite far in advance, but I have looked at the cost of flights already and for some unexplained reason, Ryanair from LGW is the most expensive!
Why is this, and does anyone know if the fares are likely to come down in price, or am I best to book the cheapest flights I can find now; which is currently Aer Lingus from LHR @ £115rtn for two people!
Any help would be most appreciated.

Ok. Thanks for all the advice, I will certainly hang fire before booking.
But seriously just hang on and wait for a cheap deal to come along. If you can look at flying from STN! FR have (i think) 7 daily flights to DUB! If flights are cheap it might justify travellin & flying from STN
Just a thought

Unfortunatley I live in Croydon which is about 30mins from LGW, so it would be a lot more expensive and more hassle to get to and fly from STN.
Thanks for the advice though.

I would definately hold on at least 3 or 4 months, and wait for a Ryanair sale to come up, you should be able to get them cheap then.
You are spot on!!!
I once booked 2 rtn flights to Spain and checked them 4 weeks later and it was 50% of the price i paid! Needless to say i wasnt impressed
