Florida Warbirds

Guys

Thought that it was about time I contributed some pictures to this forum, though not sure I can match the quality of some of the folks who are regular contributors….haven’t managed to convince my wife that a digital SLR (!) is a necessity so stuck with scanning slides for now……and having to wait weeks for the slides to be processed and I can see the result – damn!!

Was in Florida earlier this year and managed to fit in a flight in a Texan at Kissimmee (http://www.warbirdadventures.com) and a trip to the Sun’n’Fun show at Lakeland. Would highly recommend the Texan flight to anyone who gets the chance…..maybe one day I’ll save enough for a go in a P-51 at the Stallion 51 hangar just down the road!!

Hopefully below are some photo’s of a Texan and a B-25 at Kissimmee as well as a few images from Lakeland.

Chris

Texan first

Thanks for the pics Chris – big and bold. I particularly like the T-6 shot, gives you an ‘in the cockpit ‘ feeling, which, of course, you were!
