He is (was) my late Uncle, and was RAFVR. I know very little about him other than where and when he was shot down, the a/c he was flying at the time. I am going to Malta to commemorate his death 75 years on. I want to look at the Operations Record Book for the day and understand it is in Kew – hopefully I will be able to do this before going to Malta. I will also try and get access to his Service Record.
Perhaps you could explain the reason for your interest?
