FLUGWERK 190

Does anyone know if there are any plans to display this at any airshows in europe this year, as i noticed this was absent from ILA 2006. it would have been amazing to see the me 109, fw190 and me 262 in formation.

Given that the Messerschmitt foundation bought one, I would suggest the answer is yes…

I can handle the description of a Flugwerk FW190 – however the latest FlyPast has a news item with a Messerschmitt Me262 new build. Are these aircraft sanctioned by the original company?

No, the suggestion is that the 190 is suffering, not the 262.

One of the American built Me262s had a landing accident about a year ago on a test flight. Are you not confusing this with the recently German finished machine?

The US one is back flying.

Any progress on Rudy Frasca’s 190 and the brasilian one?

Takes a long time for them to be ready.

Cheers

The 190 was at the ILA show??? Or are you talking another display?

Dave

I think he meant the ME262.

I also heard about the 190 and a groundloop…

Several photos from ILA here:

Can you tell me when they saw it. I was in Berlin with the Catalina, and saw it last on sunday doing its display. If there is an intrest I can put some photo’s online. Some are a bit dark as the weather has been awful.

In that case, I am either wrong, or it has since been repaired!

No problem, whichever way!

From someone who saw it in the hangar. Might be wrong, might be right!

I understand it suffered a ground loop at some point, and is currently being repaired.

Where you have this Info?? I don’t believe that.
