A 27 year old Australian woman is in a critical condition in a New Zealand hospital….A 300kg dolphin jumped into her boat knocking her unconscious and causing severe chest injuries….the lass went into cardiac arrest while waiting for a helicopter to take her to Hospital

Squirrels….now I learned rather too much about one today….there is Rocketeer driving along with Mk 1 & Mk 2 daughters, GF plus son and my doggy when I see a squirrel limping….like the twit I can be….I turn car around and braving the busy roads of Salisbury. finally catch said squirrel holding him around the rather soft and cuddly tummy….Unfortunately the not so cuddly teeth came out and munched three times on my index finger….all I can say is ouch! Each bite went through to the bone and scraped it….popped the fella in the boot. The other contents of the car were all going argh as I caught the fella (well girl…no lady!) until they saw my heavily bleeding finger.
So first lesson of year, if (after considering whether YOU think they are vermin or not) you decide to rescue a Squirrel with a broken leg, catch it by the tail, preferably with armoured gloves. I personally am pleased that she will be back on all paws in a few weeks, though wish she had not bitten me so well! I shall take more precautions next time. Some may think that I was silly saving any wildlife, don’t care, I am countryfolk not a towny….the worst nastiest animals in the world are us, the so called humane humans.
Sorry for thread drift…back to those cuddly dolphins! Just remember though, a dolphin did not invent A bombs, create the ozone layer and do their best to kill not only themselves but every other living thing on this beautiful planet we live on.
One last thought, if shrews are half as ferocious as squirrels then the Supermarine Shrew was a good name for the Spitfire!! Happy New Year!

oh dear what a shame.. i hope the poor dolphin was ok after… so we have had our complaints about sharks now its the dolphins turn. them bloody dolphins eating all OUR fish and jumping into boats and the likes, what right have they… they pose a huge threat to humanity we had better do something about it.
i would not say bottle nosed dolphins or eny other species of sea mammal are cute and cuddley. but they are amazing creatures. and one thing that always amazes me is that 99.9% of the time they tolarate us and even show friendlyness to us. very very rare so please dont knock them. the only time a dolphin will attack a human is if the human has done something wrong, like swimming between a mother and calf, or just gets in the way.. do enyone blame dolphins for sometimes seeing us as a threat, thousands are killed every year by the actions of us… 😡

And earth worms are even worse!!!!
******* earthworms. They ate most of my ancestors, the *******s. (The worms that is, not my ancestors).
I’m trying to visualise a roaring dolphin. I can’t. Try it, I’m pissing myself.
I can see that as a new cruise ship excursion. No more ‘swimming with dolphins’, come on our ‘running like **** away from the lions’ excursion.
‘Local company sponsors terminally ill child to cuddle alligators at Disney’. Nah.
Dolphin bitch-slaps indeed. Damien, you are truly wordy.

No, I wouldn’t, ‘cos I can’t be arsed.
As for them being all cute and cuddly, that’s utter balls, too:

Perhaps not killed, but certainly attacked….

Honestly, what utter crap.
A little over-exaggeration, certainly, but not utter crap, DB.
A man was once butted in the stomach, on purpose, by a bottlenose dolphin because it felt the man was a threat to the dolphin and its mate….

Absolutely – they can kill you if they wanted to.

People should realise that dolphins are as dangerous as lions and forget this idea that they are cute and cuddly and that they are smiling.

Bloody dolphins. They should put them back into tuna cans IMO.
It was probably one that John West rejected
