Thought I’d mention this as no one else has.
FlyBE has announced 3 new routes from Newcastle International (NCL).
The routes are:
– NCL to London Gatwick to replace Jet2 on the route who are withdrawing from this route on March 29th. FlyBE start this route on the 30th March. Flights depart Newcastle at 06:25, 13:20 and 17:05 with return flights starting from £49.98.
– NCL to Aberdeen. Taking on Eastern Airways on this route, FlyBE will operate 6 days per week on this route departing Newcastle at 10:25 with flights starting from only £43.98.
– NCL to Rennes. This is a summer service that operates weekly starting 24th May which is a Saturday flight.

The Jet2 route out of NCL has been struggling for while! The route is much more suited to Flybe.
Nice touch by Flybe today sticking a Bilboard outside of NCL parked directly across from where the Jet2 check in desks are placed!
