FlyBe EMB195 question.

My folks are taking a trip to Faro from EXT next week. I have booked them extra legroom seats and I wanted to know if there is a bulkhead infront of row 1. If so is there really any extra space or would they be better in the exit row. Thanks for any help you can give.

If your parents are able bodied people with no disabilities they’re better off in the emergency over wing exit seats where there is a lot more leg room

Just to clear this a little I mean is there a wall right in front of the seats in the front row separating the seated pax from the door area or is it open? Can a 6’2″ bloke stretch his legs out or will bang them on the bulkhead. (or in the case of row 2 D/E the galley).

I know it seems daft but it is way more comfortable for tall people (me) to sit in a normal seat and put their legs under the seat in front of them than to get an “extra leg room seat” and find there is a solid wall in front of you. I have fallen for this before so I just want to make sure it does not happen to my parents.

Common sense says there has to be bulkhead if it’s row 1
