Flybe have applied to CAA licencing to operate a VLM Fokker 50 to cover for maintence till the end of June.
Is this to cover for sick aircraft or aircraft on maintence or for crews they have not got to fly the aircraft that are sitting around servicable?

The VLM fokker 50 has been doing rotations out of BHD to MAN since Monday. Appears to be doing the MAN based rotations.

They also have 2 F100’s from SunAdria, a B732 from EAC and a Bae146 from WDL on various short-term leases. I believe these are to cover late deliveries from Embraer.
Althought they seem to have a surplus of aircraft from the BA Connect fleet I guess not many of these have the required capacity to cover for the late 195’s.
